Captiva Island Resorts
Which Captiva Island resort you chose depends on your group size, amenity preference and budget. One thing is certain, you’ll have a wonderful vacation no matter where you stay.
Tween Waters Island Resort and Spa
Tween Waters Island Resort and Spa is the most historic of the Captiva Island resorts and has hosted vacation goers for more than 90 years. Named “Tween Waters Inn” in 1931, many vacation-goers still refer to this resort under its original name.
Tween Waters offers a mix of accommodations from 19 historic beach cottages and traditional hotel-style rooms. Situated across Captiva Drive from the Gulf of Mexico, Tween Waters has a pool, excursion activities and an onsite marina with direct access to Pine Island Sound. Beach access is possible by crossing Captiva Drive.
Dining options at Tween Waters include the Crowe’s Nest, Oasis Pool Bar and the popular Old Captiva House.
South Seas Island Resort
South Seas Island Resort is the newest and most well known of the Captiva Island resorts. South Seas features of mix of vacation rental condos and homes available in addition to units available directly through the resort. Just be sure you know when booking whether or not your rental includes full resort access.
At 330 acres, South Seas is by far the largest of the Captiva Island Resorts. A free trolly runs from the main gate to the northern section of the resort. Amenities include a spa, par 3 golf course, tennis and a sailing school. There are two pools and a waterslide at the north end of the resort for those whose packages includes full access to the resort.

Jensen’s Twin Palm Marina and Cottages
Jensen’s Twin Palm Marina and Cottages is the perfect resort for those seeking to reel in the big one on their Captiva Island vacation.
Jensen’s Twin Palm Resort and Marina is the resort for those seeking that “Old Florida” experience. This resort has been a part of Captiva Island’s vacation industry since the first cottage was built in 1928.
Amenities include a fishing museum, private fishing dock and marina store.
Unlike ‘Tween Waters and South Seas, there is no direct gulf-side beach access. Fortunately, the beach is just a short walk down Andy Rosse Lane.
