Before you spend the day at the beach, you’ve got to fill up on a great breakfast. Our favorite new place to have breakfast on Captiva Island? The Shipyard, Captiva Island.
It’s Tween Waters Island Resorts newest casual restaurant and we promise it’ll take your tastebuds by storm!
Open for breakfast, bar service and dinner, the morning menu features the same breakfast previously offered at the Old Captiva House. (Don’t worry, the iconic Old Captiva House is still open for dinner)
Quality You’d Expect From ‘Tween Waters
And the views are just as scenic. Large windows frame the seascape and towering palm trees. The breakfast is as fantastic as the scenery. The blueberry pancakes are my favorite on the island. They’re light and fluffy on the inside and slightly crisp on the outside.
Eggs Benedict is served with what might be my favorite hollandaise sauce I’ve ever laid eyes on. The Grand Marnier French toast is as delicious as it sounds. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.
The casual eatery is a large, open space with modern, nautical decor. The maritime vibe is felt throughout the restaurant; an impressive collection of buoys on one wall, quirky wood-carved fishermen on another. An antique Tween Waters sign further pays homage to the Old Florida charm of the area. And to top it off, our server couldn’t have been sweeter.

The Shipyard is anchored in the space formerly occupied by the former Crow’s Nest bar (not be be confused with the all-new Crow’s Nest Steakhouse).
