‘Tween Waters Day Pass – What’s Included

For $100 per day, per vehicle (4-6 people) you can access the resort with an all-day access pass. You can arrive as early as dawn and stay as late as dusk on the day of your visit.

Capturing Captiva recommends you come early. This gives you ample time to try the delicious breakfast at The Shipyard and maximizes your time on the island.

Parking

This may sound a bit odd, but one of the pass highlights is having a guaranteed place to park your car. Captiva has two public parking lots, but only one is near the heart of Captiva. It isn’t cheap and an open space isn’t guaranteed. The day pass itself is roughly double what it costs to park at Alison Hagerup Beach. Considering everything you get for the pass, it’s a great deal.

Beach Access

Once you park your car at ‘Tween Waters, the Gulf Coast beach is steps away, right across Captiva Drive (crosswalks abound). Bring a chair and towel; their distinctive green chairs and umbrellas are not included in the day pass (but are available for an additional fee).

‘Tween Waters Pools

Capturing Captiva readers might know that we’re beach people. In the eight years we’ve come to Captiva Island, we’ve only spent a combined few hours at resort pools. That changed when buying a ‘Tween Waters Day Pass.

If you’re not “pool people,” spending the day at ‘Tween Waters will certainly make you pool people! Cooling off in the main pool is just what you’ll need after sunning yourself in the warm, Southwest Florida sun. Even better, do it while sipping a cocktail.

If you need some quiet, head over to the Serenity pool where the signs clearly state noisy people aren’t allowed (translation: no kids please!). Here, you can read and soak up some Vitamin D in peace. A Three-Rum Punch or Lava Flow is the perfect poolside companion.

We had so much fun at the Serenity Pool, we lost track of time and barely arrived at the airport in time for our flight home.

‘Tween Waters Restaurants

‘Tween Waters is known for its excellent dining. Old Captiva House and Crow’s Nest Steakhouse do fine dining well. The Shipyard’s breakfast is top notch and it’s a great casual place to feast with your family for dinner.

Oasis Pool Bar

Stopping in for the day gives you the opportunity to try poolside dining: Oasis Pool Bar is your classic poolside pub with all the ‘Tween Waters cocktails to keep you cool in the hot sun.

Other Resort Amenities

You also have access to a variety of the resort’s other amenities. You can: paddleboard, kayak, parasail, play pickleball, tennis and ride a jet ski. Some are included, others require additional fees.

How Do I Get a ‘Tween Waters Day Pass?

Come For The Day – Stay For Sunset

Think of a day pass as a trial for a longer Captiva Island getaway. All you need is a towel and some sunscreen. And don’t forget to stay until sunset. Every show-stopping sunset is even more breathtaking on the beach.

Warning: Getting a ‘Tween Waters Day Pass will make you regret not staying at this historic Captiva Resort. We loved the day pass so much, we booked a stay for our next visit. Read about it T
